Free offline calculators for field technicians, plus a traffic signal controller terminal for organisations. Android. From Phase Logic Ltd, New Zealand.
Developed and field-tested on ATSC4-generation (TSC/4 specification) controllers — Aldridge ATSC4, Tyco Eclipse and QTC — the hardware behind most signalised intersections in New Zealand and Australia, including SCATS-coordinated networks. SWARCO ITC-3 is also supported. Controllers with a serial maintenance port such as TOPAS 2500B and NEMA TS2 are untested; they may work but we have not verified them.
The Android app is a free download from Google Play. The calculators are free forever and work offline with no account: Cable Sizer (AS/NZS 3008 derating), Voltage Drop (mV/A/m), Circuit Check, Earth Fault loop impedance, and Maximum Demand. The Terminal for traffic signal controllers is a paid per-seat subscription: NZ$12.50 per seat per month, or NZ$125 per seat per year (two months free).
One device per seat. Devices can be managed and revoked from your dashboard, and you can cancel at any time — access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
